Meet our Board of Directors
Executive Director: Tammy Carter

Tammy Carter is originally from California, but for years she and her family have called the beautiful Pacific Northwest home. As a Chaplain and an Optician for over 40 years, Tammy’s “vision” is 20/20 when it comes to supporting and protecting the sanctity of life for the unborn. Between her chaplaincy experience, her career in optical management, and her leadership role with 40 Days for Life campaigns in Tacoma, Tammy is well-versed in the “creative and insightful” thinking necessary for a successful executive director.

Treasurer: McKenzie Bennett

Business owner McKenzie Bennett grew up in Tacoma and has lived all around the Puget Sound. With three sisters, two of whom are adopted, it’s obvious that her family values the sanctity of human life. As McKenzie says, “Adoption is the example given to us by God for the preservation of life; and all life is given by God and therefore precious.” It’s no wonder with her passion for the preborn and her entrepreneurial acumen that she is a great asset to WWCFL as our treasurer. When McKenzie’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and volunteering in various community organizations. She also takes her faithful terrier wherever she goes.
